I didn't know what to expect from that day, maybe that's why I was so nervous, because a part of me believed everything would go wrong… That I would walk into the company and stare at documents without understanding anything, that people would discover I didn't remember much of my life, that they would notice I was broken… That I was no longer the woman who had built all of this.
As the elevator ascended to the executive floor, I watched my reflection in the metal doors.
