Kestrel's POV I can't sleep. I've been tossing and turning on Zeph's bed for the past three hours, staring at the ceiling and hoping nothing bad happens to him or his pack. Because why on earth was his pack attacked because of me? The guilt is eating me alive, gnawing at my insides like a hungry beast. This is all my fault. If I wasn't a demon wolf, if I wasn't so different and dangerous, none of this would be happening. Zeph's pack would be safe. Those girls wouldn't be tied up in some warehouse waiting to be used as bargaining chips. Diego wouldn't have a reason to destroy everything Zeph cares about. Funny enough, I'm not even sad that I don't have anyone to run to. No family to call, no childhood home to escape to, no support system outside of the few people in this room. Ser
