She laughed when Maddie hit her several times, after Austin and his Beta left the café, “Are you freaking crazy?” she hissed at her.
“Oh, come on, you know you’d love a dinner with that man.” She once again kept it to human terms. “Now you know he’s willing as well.”
“Ana!!”
“It’s one dinner, what harm can it do?” Ana smiled at her, “He seems happy enough, his friend even laughed and played along. Maybe the man likes you.”
“Still.” Maddie hissed at her, as she turned and looked out the window, at Austin sitting out there waiting for her.
“Go and wash up, put some lippy on.” Ana laughed softly; she, too, could see that Austin was just drinking his coffee while waiting for Maddie. She knew that he could hear every word that was being said in here, and thought he was definitely list
