We both turned and there stood a lady close to my age at the doorway.
She stood there mesmerized and closed her eyes in disbelief.
“I am so sorry Camilla,” she told her. “I was not expecting you."
“Good,” she muttered, adding a bit of smirk as she stood akimbo. “That is more reason why you brought your lover home?."
