"What do you mean you checked everywhere but couldn't find him?". Lydia growled at the hunters as her knuckles turned white. For a second, just a second, I wondered why she was so upset that they couldn't find the warlock. This wasn't the first time a warlock had sneaked into the pack and successfully escaped, so why was she so infuriated they couldn't find this particular warlock?
"Gosh, you all are so useless. A stupid bunch of useless pack hunters.. She hissed before turning on her heels and stomping off.
My mind instantly drifted to Elena; she had passed out earlier on. I just hope she was okay now. Without sparing a second, I ambled up the stairs and through the corridors but came to a halt once I saw Lydia standing by her room door.
