"I'm so sorry, Elena. I heard what Blake almost did to you." Gina rasped, holding me tightly.
"It's okay, Gina; besides, I'm fine now.".
"I know, but still, it doesn't change the fact that he almost r***d you." She murmured, as tears stung her eyes.
"But come to think of it, Elena, why would Blake ever do such a thing?".
"He claimed pups from your fated mate are much stronger." I say curtly.
"That bastard." She cursed.
"It's okay, Gina. I'm okay, and that's all that matters now." I say reassuringly, and she flashes me a quick nod.
*What do you say? We sneak out for a while". I murmured, hoping that will ease the tension.
"Fine by me. I'm ready when you are." She smiled brightly as we both ambled out.
