Serena’s POV I leaned back against the couch, my arms crossed as I eyed Rhett. “Look, you’re a jerk, but… thanks for earlier.” Rhett blinked, then smirked. “For saving you from the bathroom?” I huffed. “Yes. Even though you probably just did it because you were bored.” He chuckled. “Let’s play a game,” he handed me a game controller. I sat stiffly beside Rhett, my fingers hovering over the game controller as the chaotic kitchen scene on the screen blazed to life.
