"Seraphina!" Draven yelled.
Relief flooded through me as the door exploded inward.
Draven and Gideon entered with weapons drawn and Draven immediately looked at me.
His expression changed when he saw the scales and claws.
"Are you hurt?" He asked.
"No." I said as he crossed the room.
"Who did this?" He asked and I looked toward the broken barrier.
"Vivienne." I said as Gideon's expression hardened.
"What happened?" Gideon asked.
I explained everything. The apology. The information about my mother. The chamber. The trap and Gideon immediately searched the room.
He found several pieces of parchment scattered beneath the remains of the barrier and he picked one up.
"This came from the eastern archives." Gideon said as Draven took it.
"Who signed it?" Draven asked as Gideon studied
