The morning after the wedding arrived far too quickly and despite the exhaustion lingering from the previous night's celebrations, Dragonspire Fortress had already returned to business as usual. Apparently, kingdoms did not pause simply because their rulers had married. By the time I finished breakfast, servants were already moving through the corridors carrying documents, messengers hurried between towers and nobles filled meeting chambers throughout the fortress.
