The first movie ended and Kyren demanded we watch another one. It was still pretty early in the night. I had nothing else to do. And Truce also told me to pick another one too.
I was about to click on the superhero movie when Rune huffed out a sarcastic laugh behind me.
"Something funny?" I asked, turning my head to frown at him.
"Just wondering if you're purposely avoiding the horror one."
"What would it matter if I was?" I asked, not really understanding why that was funny.
"Most girls choose it and use it as an excuse to jump into a man's arms. Just surprised you aren't taking advantage," Rune replied with a smug smile, like he'd caught me doing something. Which is crazy since I was avoiding the movie in the first place.
