I stared out the window of the cab as it zipped along the Miami coastline, the neon lights blurring into streaks of pink and blue against the darkening sky. It had been two weeks since I dumped Marcus, or maybe he dumped me, doesn't matter anymore. The asshole had been cheating for months, and I was done pretending like it didn't gut me.
So here I was, solo trip to a swanky resort in South Beach, figuring some sun, sand, and maybe a few anonymous hookups would stitch me back together.
