CHAPTER 56

975 Words

That night Ethan and I stayed up going over the plan until we were both exhausted, making sure we were completely aligned. When we finally got to bed, he pulled me close and tried to calm me, but neither of us slept much. In the morning we grabbed our bags and headed downstairs where breakfast was already waiting. I was distracted, but I couldn’t help it, what we were about to do was dangerous and unpredictable. When we went outside all of the warriors were ready and saying goodbye to their loved ones. We were taking a lot of them with us this time. Ethan worked out that we would take about 60 warriors. It was a lot more noticeable but we also knew that it was necessary. We headed towards the woods and shifted while in the woods and then headed straight forward to the first pack.
