I went back to the office and buried myself in work, building files on each pack. Ethan came in and asked if I’d eaten, and I brushed it off. He pointed out it was already night, and I hadn’t noticed. He pulled me up, and we left the office together.
There was a lot of sensitive information in the office and he took me to the kitchen where he started making dinner. It wasn’t anything flash because I knew that he couldn’t cook that well. But he told me that he had been watching me and taking pointers. So he was getting the hang of things.
We sat at the dining table to have dinner and I was almost falling asleep while eating and Ethan knew that I was exhausted. I didn’t know how he wasn’t this tired. But he mentioned that he fell asleep on the couch earlier while I was still in the office
