Riley’s POV
“f**k this is actually happening,” I whispered to myself as I stood outside Kai’s apartment door at exactly eight, my bare feet shifting on the cold hallway tile because I had kicked my shoes off two steps back like some kind of i***t.
The long black coat hung heavy on my shoulders but did nothing to hide how naked I felt underneath it.
