Mira’s POV,
“This ends now!” Kieran’s voice growled through the central arena, his fist poised as torchlight flickered on his sharp claw. The Blood Fang Pack’s crowd was turning insane with their shouts getting higher.
“Strike! Finish him, Alpha Elias!”
My heart thundered fiercely in my ribcage as I stood trembling at the arena’s rim, my hands clutching my belly. All the pack elders were standing there like porcelain statues and I knew nobody would dare to stop them.
“Moon Goddess, please show me a way,” I whispered, my voice quivering as my knees felt weak against the stone barrier.
