His forehead rests against mine, our breaths tangled together. His vow still hangs between us, fragile as glass. I will not lose myself. Not while you are holding me. The words break something open in my chest. Not pain. Not fear. Something warm and aching and overwhelming. Something that rushes through me too fast to contain.
