[Evelyn’s POV]
A few days had passed since the trial and things weren’t exactly settling back to normal. Once the formal statements had been released from both the King and Alexander, every news outlet in the region was dying to get a personal interview out of either one of them.
Alexander made it a firm point to refuse every news company that was even willing to give him official air time on their specific news station as opposed to a regular article. The answer was still ‘no’.
There had reached a point where I even sat down with him and asked him to explain his reasoning.
