A plan was in place.
Aside from Evelyn recounting the events leading up to her torture, she had gone on to tell Alexander about the delusions Isabella and Samantha shared about their intention to go after him once she was ‘removed from the equation’.
Alexander was mortified and utterly revolted at the very thought. God forbid he had ended up losing Evelyn, there was not a chance in hell that he would ever consider marrying Samantha.
Even if those were his intentions he would still have to deal with the fact that she was already married to another Alpha. The process of divorce along with the possibility of having to fight Liam for her hand was tedious and not worth his time.
