Alexander bent down and captured Evelyn’s lips in a fierce kiss that threatened what was left of his resolve. Evelyn’s words felt so much more than just an invitation. They felt like a confession from the most hidden part of her.
He had to remember, there wasn’t some illicit drug coursing through her system anymore. This was all Evelyn now. She was fully in control of her actions, wants, and thoughts.
And at that moment, she made it abundantly clear that she wanted him. Alexander would be damned if he did not come through for such a request.
Hell, the amount of emotion and desire he was holding back from her was enough to make the floors and walls shake. Alexander thought of how easily he could do away with both of their clothes and take her right then and there
