Storm POV As much as I wanted to get involved in talking to Cloe at the bed. One look from Dad told me to let Mum handle most of the talking, for now, a girl thing, I guess, she was going to need Mum moving forward, more than she realises. Watching Mum, I couldn't help but move forward and get closer to Cloe as she conversed with Mum. I reached out and touched her arm, stroking it softly. Cloe didn't flinch or move her arms away; it was like she didn't feel me, but I think she does. Cloe turned to look at me when Mum introduced Dad and finally mentioned me, and although she looked tired, her beautiful emerald-green eyes captured me. I couldn't look away, even if I wanted to. They held my gaze while Mum continued to talk about her needs, before leaning in and kissing Cloe on the cheek.
