Was I taking a huge risk giving Bruiser a second chance to protect my child?
I don't think so. I have seen him interact with the young lass at the cafe; if he were a bad man, he never tried to help her and her family. He spoke with kindness and determination regarding the homeless and street children. That if he couldn't return to the clubhouse as a member, he would help those on the streets and the poor; that was all I needed to hear. He couldn't hide that passion as he spoke; no, I made the right choice.
But to have my judgment questioned by an employee? That was not acceptable. He can ask for my reasoning, share ideas, and offer suggestions. But do not make it sound like I had made an error, as Stephen had.
