Dad let me leave the clubhouse, instead of staying to talk it out, and with the understanding that they would deal with the Mia situation. Something I didn't want to get involved in in the first place, the girl had hurt my girl, and having her beaten was satisfying, but I was sick to my stomach with what we were hearing, and didn't want to be in that room any longer, glad to get out and fast.
Prez and Dad wanted me for some of it, as an officer, it was expected. Also, I think with Dad hinting he would like to take over VP one day, I had to see that side of the club. I already do a lot of the paperwork that Dad does, helping him out. In some ways, I didn't mind the idea of being VP, but in others, I did. Today was an example of the side of the club I do not enjoy.
