Skittles appears to have fitted in well, and having Gold Nugget accept her made it even better. Journey was impressed by how Gold Nugget behaved; it's like he was a friend monitor, picking out who he liked and trusted. It's a pity that Nightingale came across so strongly at the first meeting. He's not as quick to forgive, having spent too many nights huddled in hiding, away from Richard, which has left a lasting effect on how he deals with what he might perceive as an aggressive person. Nightingale isn't aggressive, but being a top-level nurse and a person of authority, she sometimes forgets she's not at work bossing people around, but at home, where a softer approach is needed.
