Before the man could get anywhere near Rhett, Jackson intercepted him in one swift move. A crisp sound of bones slipping out of place rang out in the night. The man let out a muffled groan and, in the next second, was firmly restrained, left with no room to struggle at all. “Rhett!” He screamed hysterically, his voice raw with rage. “My Locke family has no grudge against you!
