The nurse didn’t say anything.
She just stood there, completely still.
The air inside the elevator suddenly felt heavy.
I stared at her.
She was wearing a nurse’s cap and a mask. Almost her entire face was covered. The only thing visible was a pair of eyes.
Those eyes… for some reason… felt a little familiar.
My heart suddenly sank.
“Who are you?”
My voice had already turned cold without me realizing it.
“Where are you taking me?”

The elevator dinged and stopped at the basement level.

Just as I was about to rush out, at that exact moment she suddenly stepped forward and grabbed me, moving so fast that I barely had time to react.
