Aria climbed up onto the windowsill. At that split second, before I even had time to react, Lucas had already lunged forward.
He practically threw himself at her, his arms clamping tightly around Aria’s waist as he dragged her back from the window by sheer force.
At that instant, I heard the glass shudder, and I heard my own heart nearly stop beating.
