Beckett’s POV
Callie sits up straighter in her seat when Fallon calls her name, small card clasped in both hands, as she bounces slightly in the chair.
'My first question is,' she announces, reading carefully from her card. 'What's something you're really proud of?'
Murphy answers easily. 'Building my company from nothing. Took a lot of failed attempts and hard work before it actually worked.'
‘That’s a good answer, well done Murphy,’ Callie praises, drawing laughter from everyone in the room, including me. ‘What about you Leif, what are you really proud of?’
Leif smiles at my daughter, his lips twitching. 'Well, I’d have to say it is getting through some tough years in my career. It wasn't always smooth sailing, and like Murphy, it has taken a lot of hard work to get where I am today
