“I never wanted you as my Luna, and I will never want you as my Luna,” I growled. Even after all this time, she seemed to hold the same delusion. “You were only ever picked by my mother, because of your bloodline, to help create a strong heir. I never cared about you the way you want.”
She huffed at me, sticking up her nose at me. “You think I care if you want me? This doesn’t have anything to do with desire between us. It has to do with need.”
“You need to stop living in your delusions, Claire,” I snapped.
