Damien’s POV
I was just about to leave the office when I saw another call from home. This time, it wasn’t from Amelia herself, but from the landline. Typically only the head housekeeper used that number when she was reordering supplies for the home or there was some kind of emergency.
I checked the time. The head housekeeper should be gone for the day, so who was using this number.
Lowering my phone, I ignored the call for now. Maybe it was just Amelia trying to reach me in a different way, though it wasn’t like her to be sneaky like that. Even so, it was something that I was determined to deal with later.
Right now, my work mostly caught up for the day, I wanted to get back out there and continue the search for Claire and Sienna. I made it down the elevator and outside when my phone
