Working in tandem with Alpha King Benedict, with Benedict even commandeering my office, I expected to have my every directive totally overridden, especially in matters dealing with the fugitives and rogues.
Yet Benedict sat quiet and watchful as I gave orders to Keegan and my other assistants and guards. With how closely he was observing me, I felt as if I was being tested.
