Amelia’s POV As much as I didn’t want to spend more time than necessary with Damien, family dinners had still been a regular thing for our little family. I was angry with Damien, not with the girls. I still wanted them to feel happy and safe at home, with two parents who loved them very much. So, since having dinner together wouldn’t be unusual at all, I should have been able to easily say yes.
