Amelia’s POV
Maybe I should have left well enough alone, but with Sienna in prison, I couldn’t help but want to visit her. While I had believed myself to be Annette, Sienna had been my sister, and though she had betrayed that trust many times, I still felt connected to her in a way that I didn’t feel with any of the other prisoners.
Richard, Ruth, and Claire had already been judged. They were to be imprisoned for the rest of their lives. The other rogues had varying sentences, some allowed to return to their home in the rogue territory, others needing to serve a sentence of time before they would be released.
Sienna’s fate, Damien was entrusting to me. In part, this was a sign of his trust in me as his partner, and in other part, this was a gift.
