My curiosity was getting the better of me as I wandered to the highest floor to peek in on Ian’s bedroom. I’d never been up there, never seen it, though I had dreamed about it often enough.
I knew it wasn’t my place, even now, and I also knew I was pushing my luck by trying to see it when Ian had not given me an invitation. He was being so kind, allowing us to stay here and protecting us from Jake and Damien. Yet, I felt like a moth drawn to a flame.
My feelings for Ian were so strong that I just had to know what his bedroom looked like, to give more accuracy to my dreams and imaginings.
