“You are,” I replied.
“Maybe, but I’m a monster that you made. You, Mom, Dad, and Amelia. You started neglecting me the minute she appeared, and never stopped. Suddenly I was forgotten and she was the one receiving all your love and affection.”
Sienna’s voice was sharp, and as she looked at me again, I could see the hurt beside the fury in her eyes.
“You all abandoned me. What was I supposed to do?”
“Save it for the trial,” I told her. “And pray that the pack will have more mercy on you than I would.”
“So that’s it then? The abandonment continues?”
