I only heard two words from Amelia’s phone call.
Kids. Gone.
That was enough to have me racing down the hallways and out the door of the office building without any explanation to anyone I had even just been talking to.
I didn’t care about anything else in this moment except my children and my family. I had to get home.
My wolf was aligned with me in this desire, and we made it to the house in record time. Amelia was in the backyard with her parents and Jake.
