Quickly tying her curls into a loose bun with some strands left out near the front to frame her face, she smiled at herself, adjusting her glasses, before heading downstairs. Grabbing her keys out of the bowl in the entryway, she left her house and locked up. Glancing at her watch, she saw she had 12 minutes to 10. The Bywaters only lived two streets down and she could easily walk, but the sun was blistering.
