Brenda shrugged and said, "She's terrified and unsure of what to do. I think she will be ok in a few days, especially after Danielle gets home. I tried to comfort her as best as I could, but I'm not sure if she believed me. This is all new to her and we are all strangers to her. It's not like what happened with me.."
Alexandra nodded silently as she understood the meaning. Brenda and Alexandra had been best friends and lovers for most of their lives. Both had married well and intended to start a family.
