We all laughed again as we turned back to the TV. We settled into relaxing and making snide comments about the shows as I felt accepted and completely free for the first time. Tim apparently saw my expression or body language change, because he leaned over and whispered, "Everyone feels like this once they settle in and relax. You just got there quicker than most. Forget those fuckers. You should consider this home now."
