Brendan woke up and groaned groggily at the sound of the bathroom door opening. He rubbed his eyes for a moment and looked over to see Mikayla leaving the bathroom and walking back over to the bed wearing her usual sleep attire of a tank top and shorts. She lifted the comforter up and crawled back into bed.
"Good morning, sleepyhead." she said as she settled back into her side of the bed.
"Good morning, sexy." said Brendan. They laid quietly for a moment, the bluish early morning light just starting to filter in through the curtains.
"Hurry up and go downstairs, babe." Brendan said.
"Why?"
"You gotta help the boys out with their morning wood." he said.
