“Please tell me you just peed yourself?” Kodi ignored the open door, and instead walked up to the bullet proof glass and pressed her nose against the surface.
“Nope,” I managed to gasp out.
“But…but its not your time yet! You got like two months to go before that bun is done baking!”
“I guess she didn’t get that memo,”
“Well you gotta go! You need to go to the hospital! You need a doctor!”
I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately I didn't know what was happening above ground. Even if i could get back up those stairs in my present condition, Louis had initiated some emergency protocol in the medical wing.
Non essential staff had been sent home. A skeleton crew remained to care for the few patients who were too sick to discharge, and the facility had gone into full emergency lock
