It seemed like Louis was making a habit of showing up at the early morning training sessions. Given the way the young soldiers looked at him, and then looked at each other, I knew it wasn’t a regular occurrence. They still whispered and speculated that it was Pilar Larkin who had attracted the King to the training grounds.
