I kept my mouth closed for the remainder of the movie. The day had been perfect, and I had enjoyed it immensely, and I didn’t want to say or do anything to muddy that experience. I would forever treasure that day in my memory.
I tucked all the candy we didn’t eat back into my purse, because I had a feeling I might be needing that chocolate later. When the end credits finished rolling, we all filed out of the strangely empty theater, and back into the limousine for the drive home.
