CHAPTER 4: A DEAL WITH THREE DEVILS

BRIENNA’S POV “Can you dance, little wolf?” I blinked, completely thrown by the pivot. “What?” “I asked if you can dance,” he repeated, his smooth voice dropping to a suggestive register. “Can you wear five-inch heels and keep your balance perfectly when a man’s hands are rough on your waist?” My breath hitched. The brute’s dark eyes travelled down my wet thighs without an ounce of apology. “Can you sit on a lap in a room full of predators and look like you’re exactly where you belong, even when you’re terrified?” Before I could even process the sheer intensity of the interrogation, Gideon’s filthy voice curled right against my ear. “And can you keep a straight face, princess, when my fingers are under the tablecloth, sliding all the way up your skirt during dessert?” My face burned instantly hot. How could he constantly be so dirty? The sheer audacity left me utterly confused and fiercely peeved, my mind reeling from the whiplash of their questions while a shameful ache pulsed relentlessly between my legs. “W-what do you mean?” I stuttered. The third man sat back, the temperature in the room shifting as he laid out the case. “Here is our situation, Bree. We believe that, given your current predicament, we could be mutually beneficial. There is a fancy pack dinner tonight. Some Alpha was actually stupid enough to extend an invite, and we figured it’s the perfect opportunity to go ruin their evening. We need arm candy, and our date bailed an hour ago.” I stared at him in disbelief. “You are three Presidents of a motorcycle club. How do you not have a backup date? Why…. me?” His perfectly composed face shifted. A slow, utterly feral grin spread across his lips, transforming him from an ice-cold king into a lethal, breathtaking predator. “Aside from the fact that it is physically impossible to look away from you?” he asked smoothly, tilting his head. “And you are going to make every single Alpha in that room violently jealous?” My breath hitched “Y-Yes, aside from that.” His devious grin only extended. “Because we have a reputation, little wolf.” He let that sit in the air. “We share everything. The club. The money. The territory.” “And the women,” Gideon murmured, picking up the thread seamlessly, his voice pure sin. “All three of us. At the exact same time. We f**k hard, we f**k deep, and we don’t take turns.” The brute stepped forward, finishing the thought with dangerous, filthy bluntness. “The kind of sweetbutts who can take three Presidents stretching them out at once aren’t the type you parade in front of a fancy pack of pricks. And the polite pack girls who know which fork to use? They’d be sobbing and begging for mercy in the first ten minutes of our presence. Our options are amusingly… non-existent.” The image slammed into my head, and I almost choked on my own spit. All three of them at once. It was the most shameful, degrading thing I had ever pictured in my life. My practically prudish brain completely short-circuited, serving up a crystal-clear visual of being entirely ruined by all three of their massive bodies. Gideon leaning in to whisper absolute filth in my ear. The third man’s cold, flat voice ordering me to spread my knees wider. The brute’s rough, large hand wrapped tight around my windpipe, pinning me flat on my back so I couldn’t squirm away even if I tried. It was a totally appalling, disgusting thought. I shouldn’t even be capable of imagining being used like that in a moment like this. Yet my heart raced, and I pressed my thighs tight together. “I am not sleeping with three men to pay for motorcycles,” I managed to say, my voice a million times steadier than I felt. “Frankly, I’d rather choke on glass.” “We never asked you to f**k us, princess,” Gideon laughed, a low, dirty sound that lit up my insides with strange vibrations. “We said, be our arm candy. Wear the dress. Sit on our laps if we want. Look fuckable. At midnight, you leave with your dignity intact and, in fact, we’d even throw in a fat stack of cash. Unless you want to renegotiate the terms later. My mouth is very persuasive.” The third man regarded me this time, cold eyes finding mine. “We don’t know what you are escaping, but we know enough about bruises and f*****g up bastards who put their hands on women. One night pretending to be ours will buy you five hundred thousand dollars. Untraceable. The debt for the bikes is wiped clean. We call it even. We’ll also put you on a private run to a safe haven pack we own out of state. It’s untouchable land. You walk away with a new life, and you never spend another second looking over your f*****g shoulder.” A strange, traitorous flutter of warmth ignited low in my belly. If his voice hadn’t been so brutally cold, it almost would have sounded like he actually cared. It made absolutely no sense. Why would three feral, territorial monsters give a damn about me? Why offer me a fortune and a safe harbour instead of just bleeding me dry for what I owed them? The warmth spread through my chest in a way that I couldn’t stop. My entire life, I had only ever been a tool—the dutiful Luna, the fixer, the one expected to take care of everyone else. No one had ever looked at my broken pieces and simply offered to handle it for me. With their reach and that kind of cash, I could vanish completely off the grid. I would never have to feel the soul-crushing, humiliating agony of being thrown away for another woman ever again. The big numbers alone stole the oxygen right out of my lungs. It was freedom money. Hire-a-lawyer money. Never-look-back money. f**k-Adam money. I was suddenly breathless, my chest heaving as I fought a frantic, losing battle to blink back the hot, humiliating tears flooding my eyes. Gideon let out a low, rough chuckle. “Wow. Are you actually going to cry on us, princess?” I flinched as his massive, ink-stained hand reached toward my face, fully expecting brutality. Instead, his heavily calloused thumb brushed just under my eye, wiping away a stray tear with a surprising, devastating softness that made my breath hitch in my throat. I shook my head, my voice cracking miserably. “Why? Why do all of that for a complete stranger? What is the actual catch here? Are you planning to harvest my organs on the black market the second we cross state lines, or…?” The third man chuckled darkly. “Do not flatter yourself. This is not a charity,” he stated flatly. “You cost us millions in machinery, and we expect you to play your part flawlessly tonight to pay it off. f**k this up, and your internal organs will be the least of your problems with us.” I swallowed hard, studying his ruthless expression. Why was parading a fake date into this specific pack dinner so damn important to three Alpha Kings? “Besides,” Gideon added, his feral grin returning as his eyes dragged slowly over my ruined clothes. “If we go through all that trouble of taking you apart, princess, we’d be keeping every single piece for ourselves.” I shot him a vicious glare, the sheer, unapologetic audacity of his words momentarily overriding my exhaustion. “Fine,” I snapped, forcing my spine completely straight. “I agree to the terms. But absolutely no foul play when the night is over. And I want a few things upfront before we step foot in that dinner.” The three massive men actually looked at each other. The third man raised a perfectly arched silver brow. “You think you are in the position to demand terms?” “Yes,” I said stubbornly, leaning into every ounce of my Luna training. “I want your best pack healer to fix my bruised ribs immediately. I want an outrageously expensive dress on your dime. And I want a massive, greasy double-bacon cheeseburger brought to me in the next ten minutes, because my cheating ex-husband ruined my appetite and I am literally starving.” Silence stretched out across all four of us. For a split second, I could have sworn the brute’s lips actually twitched. Caspian let out a slow, measured exhale. “Done. Anything else, little wolf?” “Yeah,” I said, lifting my chin to meet his dead-on stare. “You never call me a b***h. None of us. Arm candy only, which means no touching unless there are Alphas watching. And I leave the exact second it’s done.” Gideon purred, letting out a low whistle and his dark voice dropping half a register to seal the contract. “Deal.” “Clothes upstairs,” the third man commanded. He stood up so abruptly that I found myself staring directly into the broad, impossibly thick wall of his chest. “Shower’s on the left. We’ll have a top-tier makeover team with you in an hour, and a pack healer in half that time. For the record, I am Caspian. The man glaring holes into your skull is Kaiven. And the horny bastard currently staring at your t**s is Gideon. Be ready. We leave in five hours.” Caspian. Kaiven. Gideon. The three ruthless Alphas of the Black Vipers MC. I couldn’t believe this was actually my reality. I was about to walk right into a room of elites on the arms of my husband’s most feared enemies. A sick, delicious thrill sparked low in my belly. Goddess, I hoped Adam was there. I wanted to watch that cheating bastard absolutely choke on his own jealousy when he sees his rejected wife being guarded, pampered, and claimed by the most lethal men in the state. Kings who could snap his neck without blinking. Oh, he was going to burn. I walked toward the stairs. I felt all three of their gazes on my back, tracking my every step. Patient, entertained, entirely hostile. Halfway up the steps, Gideon called after me, his voice lazy and dripping with filth. “Hey, Just Bree? If you need help peeling that wet dress off… the door’s always open. We’re very hands-on Presidents.” “Never happening,” I called right back, slamming the door behind me. If only I knew that in just a few short hours, I’d be eating my words—and absolutely everything else they offered me.
