“Don’t say another word.” I aim the pillow at him like a loaded crossbow. “I will gladly cross this room and smother you with this.”

“Goddess, stop!” I snap, hugging the pillow tighter. “I will bite you.”
A fiery blush violently explodes across my cheeks, rushing all the way down to my toes.
I desperately want to bury myself under a massive blanket and never, ever surface again.
But alas, I am still flipping naked, leaving me with absolutely nowhere to hide except behind a tragically small pillow.
