I woke the next morning with Sebastian beside me. Nothing had happened after dinner beyond talking until we were both tired enough to sleep. He hadn't tried to turn my return into more than it was. I was grateful for that.
He was already awake when I opened my eyes.
"Morning."
"Morning."
I looked at the clock beside the bed.
"We're going to be late."
"We have more than an hour."
I pushed the covers away.
"Some of us take time to get ready."
His mouth moved into a smile.
"I've noticed."
I went into the bathroom before he could say anything else.
By the time I was dressed, Sebastian had already gone to the kitchen. I found coffee waiting for me and grabbed the cup before checking my phone. Priya had sent a message twenty minutes earlier.
