I stared at the message and looked around the table. Sebastian was examining the documents while Nathan spoke with the female auditor. The second auditor was working on his laptop. Whoever sent that message wanted me to suspect someone in this room.
"Sebastian, read this."
I handed him my phone and watched him read the message twice. He passed it to Nathan, who stopped speaking. The auditors looked up when Sebastian asked them to wait. I wondered how the sender knew what we were discussing.
"Have you answered any of these messages?" Sebastian asked.
"Not one."
"Then don't start now."
