I stared at the empty space behind the picture. A backup drive sounded like something that should have been locked somewhere Marcus couldn't reach. Sebastian must have read the question on my face. He stepped closer to the wall.
"Why did he have access to it?"
"It was installed years ago."
Sebastian examined the empty mount.
"Marcus was responsible for strategy records before I became CEO."
That explained why it had once been there.
It didn't explain why nobody had moved it.
