Friday morning came faster than I wanted. I stood in front of the mirror in Sebastian's bedroom and fixed the collar of my blouse. The folder from his grandfather was inside my bag with Ellis's letter and my notes. I had read everything I could find.
Sebastian appeared behind me.
"Ready?"
"As much as I can be."
He picked up his watch.
"We can leave whenever you want."
I grabbed my bag.
"Now."
We drove to Wolfe Enterprises separately. I didn't want today to begin with everyone watching me climb out of Sebastian's car. They already had enough to talk about. I wasn't giving them anything extra.
Priya met me near the elevators.
"How are you feeling?"
"Ask me after the meeting."
