NATHAN Monday mornings used to be easy. Park the truck, meet Tyler and Marcus by the doors, find something to say about somebody before first bell even rings. It was a routine, like brushing my teeth. I never thought about it because I never had to. Today I think about it the entire drive to school. By the time I get to the doors, Tyler's already got his phone out, laughing about something. Marcus is leaning against the brick wall like he owns it, which, in this hallway, he basically does.
