“This is bullsh.it, Johnny!” One of the men in front of her whined to his other companion.
“Oh, just shut up, Dave. I am done being their damn lapdog. We shouldn’t even be here. This is a crap mission. I’m done taking orders from those as.sholes.” The rogue known as Johnny announced as he continued to march down the fresh path in the grassy open field.
“But what if they notice we’re gone? What if they find us?” Dave whimpered. Fear was evident in his voice.
“Let them try. I didn’t break out of one pack with an i***t for a leader to be thrown into another. That pack is operating like a bunch of morons. I’m done.”
“But what if the Alpha discovers we abandoned our post?” Dave whispered, looking around even though it was just the two of them.
